Liam Campbell is a producer living in Los Angeles and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He developed a background in videography and cinematography at a young age, recording his friends skiing and skateboarding. In 2015 Liam enrolled at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where he realized the power of stories and has maintained a keen focus and interest in narrative film and television production and development. In his time as a student at USC Liam has helped develop two feature films, both of which were put into production. He has also produced a number of undergraduate and graduate-level thesis films at USC. Liam has served as a producer on short films that have screened at Cannes, Outfest Fusion, HollyShorts, and many other festivals around the globe.

THE STORY:

Maxine is a post-graduate, dealing with anxiety and depression from a wounded relationship with her mother. On the darkest night of her life, she plans to commit suicide. When maxine makes an unexpected new friend, she discovers a reason to live.

ROYA (2018)

Producer | USC MFA Thesis Film

THE STORY:

Set in present day Los Angeles, ROYA follows a traditional Iranian mother who clashes with her free-spirited teenage daughter Nikki. 

Right before her niece's engagement party, Roya discovers Nikki has spontaneously dyed her hair blue. This might not seem like a big deal, but for Roya IT IS! When she encounters judgmental guests at the party, Roya must defend her daughters individuality... even if only for a moment!
